Former Beşiktaş footballer Kenan Karaman, who plays for Schalke, recounted on HT Spor an interesting memory he experienced at the black-and-white team.
KENAN'S BATSHUAYI MEMORY
Kenan Karaman explained that a shot taken during training by Belgian player Michy Batshuayi, with whom he played together at Beşiktaş, hit a police vehicle outside the facilities.
"HE BROKE THE WINDOW OF THE POLICE CAR"
Recounting the moment of the incident, Kenan Karaman said, "During my Beşiktaş period, we were doing shooting training. Batshuayi also took a very powerful shot and sent the ball outside the facilities. Training ended, and we were heading inside. Then we saw that the police had come to the facilities. The ball had literally hit the police car, and even the car's window was broken and so on. We laughed there, the whole team was in shock. We were jokingly saying to Batshuayi, 'Batshuayi, they're going to take you away now!'" he said.
