It has been revealed that at the famous pastry shop in Istanbul, offal, head meat, and animal fat are used instead of minced meat.

It was determined that 100% minced meat was not used in the minced meat pastries of Istanbul's famous pastry shop during the food inspections conducted by the Ministry.

THE INCIDENT THAT CAUSED OUTRAGE AT THE FAMOUS PASTRY SHOP

Meşhur Sarıyer Börekçisi, which is among the well-known pastry shops in Istanbul, was included in the list of counterfeit and adulterated products published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry last week. It was found that the minced meat pastries sold at the pastry shop's three branches contained mixed meats other than beef mince.

ANIMAL OFFAL FOUND IN KAĞITHANE

In the minced meat pastries sold at Meşhur Sarıyer Börekçisi located in Sultangazi, poultry meat and offal were found. In the minced meat pastries at Meşhur Sarıyer Börekçisi in Pendik, offal - head meat was found. In the minced meat pastries of Meşhur Sarıyer Börekçisi located in Kağıthane, animal offal was discovered.
