Authorities stated that the fire did not originate from the battery and that a detailed investigation had been initiated, but the truth was soon revealed. Investigations found that illegal electricity was being used in the house where the vehicle was being charged.

The domestic and national car of Turkey, the Turkey Automobile Initiative Group (Togg) vehicle, started to burn fiercely while charging in Viranşehir, Şanlıurfa. While the images caused a wide reaction in the public, Togg officials stated in their announcement that the fire did not originate from the battery and that a detailed investigation had been initiated.

TOGG HAD RELEASED A STATEMENT

Following the incident, Togg stated, "On Friday, October 4, a fire occurred in the T10X parked in the private property of our user in the Viranşehir district of Şanlıurfa. The fire was brought under control in a short time, and there were no injuries or loss of life."

"IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE FIRE DID NOT ORIGINATE FROM THE BATTERY"

The initial examination revealed that the fire did not originate from the battery. A detailed technical investigation has been initiated regarding the matter. We present this information to the public," the statements said.
