On August 14, 2023, passive euthanasia was administered to baby Kerem Muhammet under the orders of gang leader İlker Gönen, and no intervention was made to the baby in any way. This is one of the most serious findings in the indictment. The Tokluoğlu family's babies were knowingly left to die.

After reaching this report, we are honestly trying to get over the shock. I was expecting twins. We bought a double stroller. We constantly dreamed of that, but one of them survived. We had no idea he was dead. My wife was curious about the baby, I went to the intensive care unit. That’s where I learned. How can a person be this cruel?"
