LONG QUEUES ARE FORMING
Citizens are showing great interest in the breads sold for 7 TL, and the breads are running out quickly. Citizens forming long queues have requested that the Public Bread application initiated by Dörtyol Municipality be made permanent.
"OUR ONLY REQUEST IS NOT TO INCREASE PRICES"
63-year-old Özdemir Akman, expressing his satisfaction with the Public Bread service, said, "We are very satisfied. May God bless our municipality. Bread is 15 lira outside, here it is 7 lira. I take care of 7 people, 4 breads are not enough, but if I buy outside, I pay 75 lira. Here I get the same bread for 35 lira. May God bless our mayor for thinking of us and bringing this service. Our only request is not to increase prices. Let the bread continue to be 7 lira," he said.
"SOMETIMES BREADS RUN OUT IN HALF AN HOUR"
Esin Aslantaş, a staff member of Public Bread who encounters intense interest from citizens, stated, "After our mayor took office, many projects were implemented. Public Bread was one of them. We have been providing service for about a year. Our citizens are very satisfied with the price of bread. Bread is 15 TL in bakeries, and we sell it for 7 TL. We start sales at 08:30 in the morning, take a break at 12:30, and continue sales again at 13:30 in the afternoon. We sell an average of 600 breads daily. Sometimes the breads run out in half an hour. The demand is really high. Our breads are of high quality, fresh, and affordable. Therefore, the public is very satisfied. We thank our Mayor Bahadır Amaç for starting this service," she expressed.
