In a collapse that occurred at a private mine in the Amasra district of Bartın, 25-year-old miner Mert Ali Arslantürk, who lost his life, was sent off on his final journey with prayers. It was revealed that the deceased miner was going to become a father in 2 months.
Mert Ali Aslantürk, aged 25, who was injured in a collapse at the 410 level of a mine pit belonging to Hema Energy and Mining in the Tarlaağzı village of Amasra district, Bartın, died at Amasra State Hospital where he was taken. A funeral ceremony was held for Aslantürk in the Bakioğlu village of Kozcağız town.

The funeral ceremony was attended by Bartın Mayor Muhammet Rıza Yakçınkaya, Kozcağız Mayor Mustafa Karaman, AK Party Bartın Provincial Chairman Yaşar Arslan, CHP Bartın Provincial Chairman İsmail Cem Akyol, Turkey Mine Workers Union Amasra Branch President Emrah Açıkgöz, relatives, colleagues, and hundreds of people.
