Izmir Metropolitan Municipality denied the claims of seizure: There is no such action.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security has applied seizure procedures to 6 municipalities affiliated with the CHP due to their premium debts to the Social Security Institution (SGK). Seizures have been placed on the deposits and corporate accounts of the metropolitan municipalities of Adana, Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Mersin, and Şişli Municipality.

"THERE IS NO SEIZURE PROCEDURE"

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality made a statement regarding the news that seizure procedures have been carried out against some metropolitan municipalities on its social media account. The statement noted: "There is no seizure procedure applied to the bank accounts of our affiliated organizations and companies by the Social Security Institution. Additionally, our municipality has made arrangements with the Social Security Institution for two companies, and the restructuring process is ongoing for three other companies."
