Journalist Deniz Arman, who passed away due to lung cancer, was buried at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery following the funeral prayer held in Beşiktaş.

Journalist and television presenter Deniz Arman, who passed away yesterday morning at Çam Sakura Hospital due to lung cancer, was given a funeral prayer at Vişnezade Mosque in Beşiktaş. The prayer was attended by Arman's family and relatives, as well as colleagues and fellow professionals.

Speaking at the funeral, his son Volga Arman said, "I want it to be known that he was a good father. I am proud of him."

The coffin carrying Deniz Arman was taken to Zincirlikuyu Cemetery amidst the tears of his life partner Yüksel Kuseyri, his son Volga Arman, and his colleagues.

Arman's funeral was buried at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery after the funeral prayer held following the noon prayer.

It was observed that Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and Beşiktaş President Serdar Adalı, as well as Galatasaray Club, sent wreaths to the funeral.

Deniz Arman, who stepped into journalism in 1985 as a reporter at Milliyet under the editorship of Çetin Emeç, who was assassinated in 1990, had worked for many years with Mehmet Ali Birand in the "32nd Day" team and on national television. The news of the death of 64-year-old Arman, who worked as a reporter, manager, and presenter in numerous newspapers and television channels, was announced by his colleagues with the words, "And another star from the media, a master pen has faded.
