Striking developments are unfolding ahead of the eventful group meeting planned for today at 13:30 in the Republican People's Party (CHP).
REMARKABLE STATEMENT FROM KILIÇDAROĞLU
After supporters of Özgür Özel and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu faced off at the door of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Kılıçdaroğlu, who reacted strongly to the resulting images, pointed to a new address for the Group Meeting.
"WE WILL NEVER ALLOW DIRTY INTENTIONS"
Quoting Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş's call to him, Kılıçdaroğlu's statement on his official X account is as follows: "I said it in courtrooms, today I declare once again from here:
Let those who want to turn the true sons of this party against each other by clamoring for a total popular uprising know; we will never allow those dirty intentions! Efforts to create internal turmoil only pave the way for those eager for foreign intervention. We will foil this game!
"I INVITE ALL MY FELLOW TRAVELERS TO CALM"
Now is the time not for fighting, but for standing shoulder to shoulder. I invite all my fellow travelers, the sons of this deep-rooted plane tree, to calm and reason.
Today is the day to protect the father's home! I invite all our party members and every citizen whose heart beats for this country to our Republican People's Party Headquarters, that is, our Father's Home, at 14:00 to hold a group meeting shoulder to shoulder. We are one and we are together."
