The application of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the CHP Chairmanship with a decision of absolute nullity, for the reinstatement of the former Party Assembly has been accepted. While CHP Party Assembly and High Disciplinary Board members have been reinstated by court decision, it was learned that the first meeting will be held on June 1. It was stated that some individuals serving as mayors, deputies, and Group Deputy Chairs cannot take part in the Party Assembly due to their current positions.

Following the decision of absolute nullity, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is trying to determine his own administration. The Ankara 3rd General Enforcement Directorate accepted the request for official notification to be made to the CHP PM and YDK members who were reinstated after the congress cancellation decision.

In the petition submitted to the Ankara 3rd General Enforcement Directorate by the lawyer of Onur Yusuf Üregen, the following statements were included: "I request that the reinstatement procedures for the CHP Party Assembly Members and High Disciplinary Board Members, who were provisionally reinstated within the scope of the case and whose lists were submitted to the file by the CHP Headquarters, be carried out, that they be notified by applying to the enforcement directorate in person, and that a decision be made to issue notifications for those who do not receive them in this manner upon our subsequent request."

SALARY PAYMENT INSTRUCTION FROM KILIÇDAROĞLU

It was stated that the salaries and holiday bonuses of employees in the Republican People's Party (CHP) will be deposited and no personnel will be victimized.

It was stated that the claims reflected in the public as "salary payments frozen in CHP" are not true. It was noted that no personnel will be victimized during this process. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's press advisor Atakan Sönmez said, "There is no problem in the functioning of the party; instructions have been given to pay the salaries of all employees."

FIRST PM AND YDK MEETINGS WILL BE HELD ON JUNE 1

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will hold the first Party Assembly (PM) meeting on June 1 following the appellate court's decision regarding the CHP Congress. The High Disciplinary Board (YDK) will also meet on the same day in CHP.

According to information obtained from party sources; Kılıçdaroğlu plans to convene the PM, the party's most authorized body after the congress, on Monday, June 1 at 11:00. At the meeting, Central Executive Board (MYK) members will be determined from among the PM members, and a task distribution will be made among Kılıçdaroğlu's staff.

PM AND YDK MEMBERS REINSTATED

The main and alternate members of the PM and YDK, determined as a result of CHP's 37th Ordinary Congress held on July 25-26, 2020, were reinstated by court decision. However, some names that were in Kılıçdaroğlu's last PM will not be able to serve in this PM for various reasons.

THOSE WHO BECAME MAYORS WON'T BE ON THE LIST

Onursal Adıgüzel, Ahmet Akın, Muharrem Erkek, Hasan Baltacı, and Candan Yüceer, who were previously on the list, will not be able to serve in the 60-member PM because they are mayors.

ALİ MAHİR BAŞARIR AND MURAT EMIR WILL ALSO NOT BE PRESENT

Additionally, Tekin Bingöl and Gülizar Biçer Karaca, due to their positions as Deputy Speakers of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, and Ali Mahir Başarır, Gökhan Günaydın, and Murat Emir, due to their roles as CHP Group Deputy Chairpersons, will not be present in the PM. Furthermore, Eren Erdem, due to his resignation from the party, and former CHP Bursa Deputy Lale Karabıyık, due to her passing, will not be in the PM.

In this case, according to the party regulations, alternate members of the PM will fill the vacant seats, taking into account the vote percentages they received. Mehmet Ali Çelebi, an AK Party İzmir Deputy who resigned from CHP and was a PM alternate member at that time, will not be included in the 15-member alternate member list.
