Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the chairmanship of the CHP with a "absolute nullity" decision, made a notable call after the evacuation tension at the party headquarters. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the party chairmanship after the absolute nullity decision in CHP, made a striking statement following the evacuation tension and scuffle in front of the party headquarters.
“THE COURT DECISION MUST BE IMPLEMENTED”
Kılıçdaroğlu, in a statement made through his press advisor Atakan Sönmez, emphasized that the court decision must be implemented.
The statement said, “I request that all judicial officers, security personnel, and public officials who are acting in accordance with the decision given by the Ankara Regional Court of Justice 36th Civil Chamber, and all CHP organizations, comply with the requirements of the court decision.
I also request that no actions or behaviors contrary to organizational culture and discipline be undertaken. Necessary measures will be taken against those acting against the directive.”
TENSION RISES IN FRONT OF CHP HEADQUARTERS
During the evacuation tension in the morning hours in front of the CHP headquarters, a scuffle broke out between Kılıçdaroğlu supporters and groups close to the party administration.
In the images that emerged, some CHP deputies were seen locking arms with Kılıçdaroğlu supporters and walking toward the headquarters door, and tensions rose after the intervention of party members on guard in front of the building.
PRECAUTIONS ALSO AROUND KILIÇDAROĞLU'S HOUSE
Following the developments, the streets leading to Kılıçdaroğlu's house in Ankara were also closed by riot police units. As absolute nullity debates and the management crisis continue in CHP, the tension within the party is growing.
KILIÇDAROĞLU'S LAWYER: WE DEMAND THE SURRENDER OF THE HEADQUARTERS
After the appellate court's decision to cancel the CHP Congress and temporarily appoint former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as chairman, Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyers and some deputies who came to the CHP headquarters in the morning were not allowed into the party. It was learned that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer, Celal Çelik, submitted a petition to the Ankara Provincial Police Department.
Lawyer Celal Çelik, who reportedly submitted a petition to the police yesterday and submitted a second petition following today's events, stated in his petition: “In accordance with the decision of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice 36th Civil Chamber and the notification documents issued in the file of the Ankara 3rd General Enforcement Office, even though the representation authority of CHP belongs to Chairman Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his administration, the headquarters has not been evacuated by the previous party officials in a persistent manner.
Despite all constructive attempts and the meeting efforts of deputies, even the deputies were not allowed inside the headquarters. Moreover, despite attempts to establish constructive dialogue for a long time, no result was achieved. Therefore, we demand that the necessary procedures be carried out for the delivery of the Party Headquarters to us.”
