Famous television star Kim Kardashian has completed her 6-year law education and held her graduation ceremony at home. However, the fact that she took 6 years to finish a program that normally lasts 3 years has become a topic of criticism on social media. Instead of attending a traditional law school, Kim chose California's private 'Law Reading' program.
44-year-old celebrity Kim Kardashian has finally completed her law education after a 6-year struggle. However, this achievement has led to unexpected reactions on social media.
Kardashian held her graduation ceremony in her backyard and was the only graduate. She shared the ceremony on Instagram while wearing a gray blouse, a black mini skirt, and a beige graduation cap. As her family and children watched the ceremony, her legal mentors gave speeches praising Kim.
However, fans did not hold back from mocking her for taking 6 years to complete a law education that normally takes 3 years. The following comments stood out:
"Law school takes 3 years, you finished in 6."
"You didn't graduate, you just matured."
"Did you take one class per semester?"
"Is it normal for it to take this long?"
Nevertheless, some of her followers approached the situation with understanding. One fan commented: "While raising 4 children, managing a business empire, filming a TV show, and studying law. This is her 'Legally Blonde' era, and I support her."
Kim chose California's private "Law Reading" program instead of attending a traditional law school. This program lasts 4 years, but Kim's process was extended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and her busy work schedule. Over the last 6 years, she has worked 18 hours a week, accumulating more than 5,000 hours of classes.
She still needs to pass the Bar Exam to become a lawyer. She passed the "baby bar" exam in 2021 and successfully completed another major exam in March.
While her sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian congratulated Kim, President Trump's daughter and close friend Ivanka Trump also shared a congratulatory message saying, "My favorite law school graduate!"
Kim is raising her 4 children (Chicago-7, Saint-9, Psalm-5, and North-11) with her ex-husband Kanye West. She celebrated her graduation with a hotel party in Beverly Hills.
Her mentors praised Kim's efforts in criminal justice reform, clemency campaigns, and family reunification. Van Jones from CNN also attended the ceremony to support Kim's fight for justice.
