In the Buca district of İzmir, business owner Cavit Pekşen (42) lost his life in a knife fight at a restaurant, and customer T.T. (40) was injured.
A DISCUSSION BROKE OUT AT THE RESTAURANT
The incident occurred at a restaurant in 29 Ekim Neighborhood during the night hours. According to the allegation, an argument broke out between business owner Cavit Pekşen and customer T.T. for a reason not yet determined. In the knife fight that broke out between the parties, Pekşen and T.T. were injured.
COULD NOT BE SAVED AT THE HOSPITAL
Upon notification, medical and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured, who received initial treatment at the scene by medical teams, were taken by ambulances to Buca Seyfi Demirsoy Training and Research Hospital. Despite all interventions made there, Pekşen lost his life. It was learned that the injured T.T.'s treatment at the hospital is ongoing.
The gendarmerie launched an investigation into the incident.
