Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak announced that applications for scholarships and student loans for the 2026-2027 academic year have started. In a post on his social media account, Minister Bak stated that applications can be made via e-Devlet until 23:59 on October 16.
Scholarship and student loan applications awaited by university students began as of October 12. Students will be able to submit their applications via e-Government for 5 days.
“STARTED AS OF NOW”
In a post on his social media account X, Minister Bak said, “Dear Young People; GSB Scholarship and Student Loan applications have started as of now. You can complete your applications via the e-Government system until October 16 at 23:59.”
Addressing young people, Bak said, “We will always continue to stand by you with all our means.”
HOW TO APPLY?
The scholarship/loan applications, which will continue until Friday, October 16 at 23:59, will be accepted via e-Government. Students who want to change their application information will also be able to update their information via e-Government until this date. Since the scholarship/loan applications of students who apply with incorrect or incomplete education information will be considered invalid, students with errors in their education information need to speak with the university’s student affairs office and correct their information. Students who experience problems during the application process can request help through ALO GSB (444 0 472), which provides 24/7 service, and the X support account @KYK_DESTEK.
Students who do not have an e-Government password can obtain one from PTT branches. The system can also be accessed via internet banking, e-signature, mobile signature, or T.C. identity card.
THOSE WHO QUALIFY WILL APPROVE A COMMITMENT LETTER
Students who qualify to receive a scholarship or loan must also complete the “commitment letter approval” process on the approval screen in e-Government.
