Landslide horror in Trabzon! Young girl trapped under the ground.

Heavy rains that were effective in Trabzon the day before yesterday caused floods and landslides in 4 districts. While the landslides brought by the floodwaters affected transportation in some areas, Ayşenur Kaba (27), who lives in the Yolüstü neighborhood of the Arsin district, wanted to intervene to prevent the trees from being damaged as a result of the river next to her house overflowing.

SUDDENLY FOUND HERSELF UNDERGROUND

After clearing the area around the trees, Ayşenur, who wanted to go back home, found herself underground with a loud noise. Trapped under soil and wood pieces due to a landslide that occurred behind the firewood she had collected for the winter, Ayşenur called for help, shouting to her mother and brother. Upon hearing her mother's voice, Ayşenur was rescued from the ground with the efforts of her brother.

THEY CARRIED HER FOR 2 KILOMETERS ON A STRETCHER

For Ayşenur, who was stuck in the mud and brought home, her family called the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, the teams wanting to go to the scene faced difficulties due to the landslide that occurred on the highway. When the rescue teams, consisting of firefighters and AKUT, reached the house, they realized that Ayşenur Kaba's house was flooded and they could not enter through the front door. Ayşenur, who was placed on a stretcher taken from inside the house through the window, was carried out through the window section of the house. Due to the collapses on the roads caused by the landslide, Ayşenur Kaba was placed in the ambulance waiting for her after a journey of approximately 2 kilometers on a stretcher. The young girl, brought to Kanuni Training and Research Hospital by ambulance, was taken under treatment.

"I COULDN'T MOVE IN ANY WAY"

Describing those terrifying moments she experienced in the hospital to an İHA reporter, Ayşenur Kaba said she was very scared and had never experienced such a flood before. Kaba stated, "The incident happened in front of my house. There is a river right next to our house. Because it rained a lot, that river overflowed. When it overflowed, I went to clear the area around the culvert there. We also had our winter firewood next to it. After clearing that area, I turned around to go home, and I heard a sound coming from above. When I opened my eyes, I was on the ground. There were tons of huge logs and soil on me. I was trapped underneath. I was underneath in a way that would never be seen. I shouted to my mother and brother, exhausting my breath. Then my mother heard my voice. My brother came and rescued me. When I got out of there, I couldn't feel my legs. I learned that our house was also flooded. They brought me home, but they laid me on the ground. Because I couldn't move in any way. AKUT and fire brigade teams came. They took me out through the window. They carried me on a stretcher for 2 kilometers. I came to the hospital by ambulance. But I felt like I had come out of the mud, and I was in a lot of pain. I felt death there. I was very scared. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. There are no fractures or dislocations, but my legs are very damaged. I am trying to get better. I have never experienced such a flood before. This is the first time I have seen something like this in my life. My house was also flooded. Everything was damaged. We had just built that house. I don't know how we will recover. My mother and brother are taking care of it," she expressed.
