Leaders Of France, Germany And China To Meet İn Paris

Leaders of Germany, France and China would discuss multilateralism, trade and international challenges during their meeting in Paris next week, Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Friday.



Speaking at a news conference in Brussels, Merkel said Tuesday's meeting would be a good opportunity to discuss issues of common interest.



"This is all about multilateral challenges that we want to discuss together with the Chinese President [Xi Jinping]. And I think it is going to be a good meeting," she said.



Merkel said their intention was not to establish a new format of talks between EU's two major powers and China, and underlined that EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker would also join their meeting.



China's Jinping has began on Friday his six-day visit to Europe, including Italy, Monaco and France. -
