According to the statement made by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan, lightning struck the Cazı Keçüü plateau in the Ton district of the Issyk-Kul region. DAMAGE ASSESSMENT IN THE AREA WHERE 250 SHEEP WERE KILLEDIn the incident that occurred around 17:00 local time, 250 sheep were killed. Officials from the district department affiliated with the ministry went to the scene for damage assessment upon receiving a report at around 18:44. FEAR AND PANIC AMONG THE LOCALSThe local people experienced great fear and panic in this unfortunate incident. The fact that no human was harmed was the only consolation. Only these images captured by cameras remained from the animals that were killed.
