Manchester United Start Season With Defeat Against Brighton & Hove Albion

Manchester United began the 2022/23 Premier League season with a 2-1 home defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

German midfielder Pascal Gross scored twice in the 30th and 39th minutes as the first half ended in favor of the away side.

The Red Devils found a goal in minute 68, when Alexis Mac Allister produced an own goal at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo came off the bench to replace Fred in the 53rd minute.

Brentford secure comeback draw against Leicester City, 2-2

Leicester City, meanwhile, were held to a 2-2 draw with Brentford at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes found their goals with Timothy Castagne and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the first half, while the away club responded in the second half, thanks to Ivan Toney and Josh Dasilva.

In an away match, Manchester City claimed a 2-0 win over West Ham United as two goals came from Norwegian star Erling Haaland.
