Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, just hours before today's group meeting that sparked major debates within the CHP, published a message addressed to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. In his post, Yavaş reminded that Kılıçdaroğlu served as the CHP Chairman for many years, emphasizing the importance of acting with his experience and statesmanship in the current process.
Yavaş said, "You are an important value for our Republican People's Party, having served as its Chairman for many years and taking responsibility during our party's most challenging periods."
"MILLIONS OF CHP MEMBERS EXPECT A COMMON-SENSE APPROACH"
Referring to the expectations of the CHP base in his message, Yavaş stated that during the ongoing process, millions of party members expect a common-sense attitude from Kılıçdaroğlu.
Yavaş said, "In today's ongoing process, millions of CHP members expect you to show a common-sense approach with the experience and statesmanship you possess."
"PREVENTING UNDESIRABLE IMAGES IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY"
Emphasizing the importance of preserving the CHP's institutional identity, Yavaş expressed that the organizations and voters should not be further worn down.
In his message, he stated, "Preserving our party's institutional identity, preventing further distress to our organizations and voters, and avoiding undesirable images under the roof of Parliament and in the public eye are our collective responsibility."

Highlighting the importance of preserving the unity and solidarity of the CHP, Yavaş argued that constructive steps taken by Kılıçdaroğlu would strengthen the party.
Yavaş, saying, "Therefore, I believe that every constructive step you take for the unity, brotherhood, and future of the CHP will find resonance in society and add strength to our party," concluded his message with these words:
