Galatasaray Club Doctor Yener İnce made statements to the press regarding the latest situation of injured players, especially Mauro Icardi. İnce also announced the location and date of Icardi's surgery.

HE WILL HAVE SURGERY IN ARGENTINA ON MONDAY

Yener İnce stated about Mauro Icardi, "There has been a plan since the first day of Mauro's injury. He was supposed to go through a preparatory phase of 2.5-3 weeks. Then he would decide on the surgery. Due to social and family reasons, he is in Argentina. We spent the preparatory phase there. To avoid any setbacks during the rehabilitation phase, we decided to have the surgery done there. The surgery will take place on Monday. We have decided which clinic he will be in. The surgery will be performed on Monday," he said.

ARGENTINA WAS PREFERRED TO AVOID DISRUPTION IN REHABILITATION

Ince continued his remarks about Icardi, saying, "We told Mauro that we could perform this surgery either in Istanbul or anywhere in the world. He said he wanted to be here, but due to family and social reasons, we wanted him to spend the rehabilitation process in Argentina. We decided to have the surgery there to ensure that rehabilitation does not get disrupted after the surgery," he added.

Finally, Yener İnce stated, "Ismail Jakobs and Kaan's treatments are ongoing. Jakobs will be with us in the match. Kaan's treatment will continue. Other than them, we will return to Istanbul after winning the match without any injuries."
