The Duke and Duchess of Sussex faced criticism after sharing a video of themselves dancing to speed up labor pains on social media. Meghan posted the dance footage from the hospital to celebrate their daughter Lilibet's 4th birthday. However, the couple's post received backlash due to their ongoing complaints about a lack of privacy. Royal expert Ingrid Seward accused the couple of hypocrisy and stated that Meghan was trying to attract attention with such posts.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have faced heavy criticism for sharing a video of themselves dancing to speed up labor pains.

43-year-old Meghan shared footage of her dancing in the hospital to celebrate her daughter Lilibet's 4th birthday yesterday.

In the 80-second video, the former actress, who is pregnant with her second child, is seen making movements as if she is rowing at the edge of the bed and shaking her shoulders. Prince Harry, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, dances to the then-popular pregnancy song "The Baby Momma Dance."

Meghan shared the video with her 3 million followers on Instagram. In her post, she wrote: "This also happened four years ago today. Both of our children were a week past their due dates... When spicy food, long walks, and acupuncture didn't work, there was only one option left!"

Royal expert Ingrid Seward accused Meghan of hypocrisy, reminding that the couple often complains about a lack of privacy.

In a statement to The Sun, she said: "They can do what they want, but why do they share this online? Doesn't Meghan have any limits? I think this is rude, unnecessary, and seeks attention."

"They constantly complain about privacy and security, then share content like this. Meghan can't help but share this."

"It's a huge hypocrisy for all the values she defends. It's extremely shameful."

King Charles has only met his granddaughter Lilibet, who lives in the U.S., once, in June 2022.

This development came a day after Meghan said she was considering starting a business with her daughter and "developing a joint project."

Harry has filed numerous lawsuits against the media on privacy grounds. He lost his battle regarding security arrangements while in England this year. He later stated that it would not be safe to bring Lilibet and his son Archie to the country.

In April, the Sussex couple had called for stricter measures to protect their children from the harms of social media.

Last night, it was revealed that the couple is considering changing their family surname to Spencer, the surname of Harry's late mother Diana, due to delays in their children's passport processing.

A source indicated that they believe officials are deliberately slowing down the process because the application documents contain HRH titles.

Earlier in the day, the Duchess shared a side-by-side photo on Instagram showing a baby photo and her current self.

Meghan expressed that every day has been "brighter and more beautiful" since Lilibet was born.

In her post, she included the following statements: "Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! She joined our lives four years ago today - every day is brighter and more beautiful because of her. Thank you to everyone sending their love and celebrating this special day!"
