The discussions on the budget of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance have begun in the Parliamentary Planning and Budget Commission.

During the greeting part at the beginning of the discussions, CHP Rize Deputy Tahsin Ocaklı welcomed Minister Mehmet Şimşek by saying, "I think TÜİK doesn't know how to do calculations; let's give them an abacus to teach them how to calculate."
