20 PEOPLE ARRESTED
While the procedures for 39 of them have been completed, 20 people, including Mert Hakan Yandaş, Metehan Baltacı, Murat Sancak, Alassane Ndao, Ersan Dikmen, and Şahin Kaya, have been arrested.
MERT HAKAN YANDAŞ'S BET SLIP SHARED
One of the most striking headlines of the investigation was the emergence of a bet slip allegedly belonging to Fenerbahçe player Mert Hakan Yandaş. Ekol TV has reached the bet slip that Yandaş is claimed to have played. While the content of the slip was shared, it appears that Mert Hakan also placed a bet on Fenerbahçe and won.
MERT HAKAN'S INCOME STATEMENT AND ASSET QUESTIONED
In Yandaş's statement at the police, his assets were questioned through the Land Registry and Cadastre Information System (TAKBİS) data. He was asked how he acquired his properties. Mert Hakan stated in his defense that the real estate in Sivas was purchased during his time at Sivasspor, and that all other properties were acquired with the income he earned from Fenerbahçe. The Fenerbahçe player also declared in his court statement that his monthly income is 3.5 million TL.
