MHP leader Bahçeli receives a swift response from Musavat Dervişoğlu, who demanded the rope thrown from the podium.

The leader of the MHP, Devlet Bahçeli, made a call regarding PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, saying, "Let him come to the TBMM and join the DEM ranks, declare that he has laid down his arms, and shout that terrorism has completely ended and the organization has been dissolved." A response also came from İYİ Party leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu. Dervişoğlu, who harshly criticized Bahçeli in the party group, threw a noose from the podium.

BAHCELI REQUESTED THE THROWN NOOSE

Following this move by İYİ Party leader Dervişoğlu, which took the political debates to another level, Bahçeli also made a surprising move. After listening to Dervişoğlu's speech, Bahçeli requested the noose from the İYİ Party to hang it in his office.

"HE MUST HAVE FELT THE NEED TO SHOW OFF"

MHP Deputy Chairman Mevlüt Karakaya also commented on Dervişoğlu's throwing of the noose, saying, "That noose was meaningful when it was thrown back then; it was something completely different. Its being thrown today has nothing to do with the context of that day. As I just said, after becoming the party leader, he must have felt the need to show off to a party he couldn't hold together."

DERVİŞOĞLU'S QUICK RESPONSE TO BAHÇELİ

İYİ Party General Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu also gave a quick response to MHP leader Bahçeli's request for the noose thrown at him, saying, "Let him hang my speech, not the rope, in his office. We defend republican values much more than nationalism. The rope is currently unknown where it is; one of the friends may have taken it. If it is found, I will give it to Devlet Bey if he wants."
