After the calls of Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, DEM Party Istanbul Deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Van Deputy Pervin Buldan met with terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan in Imralı on December 28, after a 4.5-year hiatus.

BAHÇELİ'S FIRST COMMENT ON THE IMRALI-DEM PARTY MEETING

Stating that the time has come to move from words to action, Bahçeli said, "Ultimately, the positive and concrete results must be performed and announced without delay."

Bahçeli emphasized that in the new conditions and changing context, it is a fantasy to keep the PKK/YPG terrorist organization in the north of Iraq along with the west or east of the Euphrates against Turkey, and he stressed that the elimination of the terrorist organization is inevitable.
