In Izmir's Karsiyaka district, 15-year-old middle school student Erdem Demir died after taking refuge in a cafe, having been severely injured in a knife fight. Security camera footage showed the wounded student running to the cafe while clutching his stomach and the suspect being escorted away.

LOST HIS LIFE AFTER BEING STABBED IN THE FIGHT The incident occurred the day before yesterday on the Karşıyaka coast. A fight broke out between Erdem Demir, an 8th-grade student at Karşıyaka Fevzipaşa Middle School, and C.C. (18) and D.K. (19) for reasons yet to be determined. Demir was stabbed during the fight. Taken to the hospital, Demir died yesterday despite doctors' intervention. Police detained C.C. and D.K., who were involved in the fight. After their procedures at the police station, the two suspects were sent to court yesterday and arrested by the judge.
