A fire that broke out in a house in the Alaşehir district of Manisa was brought under control thanks to the quick intervention of neighbors, preventing it from spreading. The fact that no one was home during the fire helped avert a potential disaster; however, the person who learned that their house had burned down fainted.

There was a fire panic in Manisa. The incident occurred around 10:00 PM in the house belonging to Y.T. in the Şeyhsinan neighborhood. It was learned that no one was home at the time of the fire, which broke out for an undetermined reason.
CAUSED PANIC
The fire, which caused panic in the area, was immediately intervened by neighbors who noticed the smoke and flames, stopping it from spreading.
Upon the fire alert, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was completely extinguished by the intervention of the fire brigade. The homeowner Y.T. stated, "I was at the café, and I ran here as soon as I heard the news. I don't know how it happened or why," while it was learned that his wife Ü.T. and their children had gone to visit neighbors after dinner. Ü.T., upon learning of the fire, fainted while returning home. The 112 health teams intervened with Ü.T. in the ambulance. It was reported that Ü.T.'s health condition is good.
"WE INTERVENED WITH A FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND WATER"
The first neighbor to intervene in the fire, shopkeeper Şener Şeker, said, "The children ran to me saying, 'There is a fire in the house.' I took the fire extinguisher from my workplace and we intervened with the neighbors. Since we couldn't open the front door, we prevented the fire from spreading by intervening with the fire extinguisher and water from the railing. When the fire brigade arrived shortly after, the fire was brought under control," he stated.
