The protests of 500 miners who locked themselves in the Çayırhan Thermal Power Plant in the Nallıhan district of Ankara in reaction to its privatization continue on the 4th day. In his statement, Akçul announced that if no results were obtained from the meetings to be held with the ministry, the miners who locked themselves underground on Tuesday would start a hunger strike.
