Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced during her visit to Diyarbakır that Turkey's largest social campus will be brought to the city. Stating that Diyarbakır's first nursing home, women's life center, and children's home will also be put into service within the scope of the project, Göktaş said, 'We are opening the first nursing home for our elderly here. At the same time, we are bringing to Diyarbakır a project that can set an example for Turkey, with a women's life center and a children's home with social amenities.'
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş went to Diyarbakır to pay a series of visits. Minister Göktaş also visited the AK Party Provincial Headquarters.
TURKEY'S LARGEST SOCIAL CAMPUS TO BE OPENED Addressing party members there, Göktaş said they would open Turkey's largest social campus in Diyarbakır. Göktaş said, "We are opening the first nursing home for our elderly here. At the same time, we are bringing to Diyarbakır a project that can set an example for Turkey, with a women's life center and a children's home with social amenities for children. May it be auspicious."
"TERROR-FREE TURKEY" MESSAGE Pointing out that a very important turning point is being passed, Göktaş emphasized the importance of the "Terror-Free Turkey" process. Göktaş stated that peace and brotherhood cannot exist where there is terrorism, and noted that their goal is a Turkey where families find peace, children and youth look to the future with confidence, and people walk toward the future in trust and brotherhood.
"MORE INVESTMENT WILL COME" Stating that citizens also made great contributions to bringing this process to where it is today, Göktaş continued his words as follows: "If we are going through such a process on these lands today, it is because of the sacrifices of our Diyarbakır brothers, our martyr mothers, our martyr fathers, and our veterans. We carried out this process together with them, and we will continue to carry it out together. Under the leadership of our President, we will continue to reflect our work in the field alongside our politics of works and services. We need you in the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process. We will be in the field to correctly explain and convey the process and to prevent all kinds of disinformation. We are at a point where terrorism has ended. The terrorist organization needs to completely lay down its arms. Now, more investment and democracy will come to these lands. These lands will come alive more, and we see this every time. We will continue to remove all obstacles in front of our country one by one."
"WE WILL CONTINUE TO PROTECT THE LEGACY OF OUR MARTYRS" Stating that Turks and Kurds live as brothers on these lands, Göktaş emphasized that they do not allow any discrimination.
Minister Göktaş said, "With your intense efforts, Turkey has reached the best point in its democratization process. Othering never happened. We have not allowed and will not allow any provocation. We will always continue to protect the legacy of our martyrs. In the coming period, we will all go together, God willing, to an era where we walk in unity and solidarity and Turkey rises."
AK Party Diyarbakır Deputies Galip Ensarioğlu, Mehmet Sait Yaz and Suna Kepolu Ataman, and AK Party Provincial Chairman Hamit Sümer also attended the visit.
