According to the information received, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır was on his way to GAP Airport after completing his contacts in the city when a car with the license plate 34 DJP 778, driven by Serdar Çoban, belonging to the AK Party Provincial Presidency, collided with a vehicle with the license plate 63 AAE 452, driven by İbrahim Halil Altun, for an unknown reason. Upon the notification made to the 112 Emergency Call Center, a large number of health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. MANY PEOPLE WERE INJUREDIn the accident, the photographer of AK Party Provincial Chairman Mehmet İlhami Günbeği, Mehmet Cevher Doğan, protection police Cebrail Balcı and Tarık Kızılay, driver Serdar Çoban, İbrahim Halil Altun from the other vehicle, MYP Şanlıurfa Provincial Chairman Mehmet Kolkara, and one unidentified person were injured. MYP PROVINCIAL CHAIRMAN LOST HIS LIFEThe injured were taken to Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital for treatment after the first intervention by the health teams at the scene. MYP Şanlıurfa Provincial Chairman Mehmet Kolkara, who was seriously injured in the accident, could not be saved despite all the efforts of the doctors and lost his life. After the accident, Şanlıurfa Governor Hasan Şıldak also went to the area to gather information from the authorities, and an investigation was launched regarding the accident.
