If we continue to pollute and degrade it, we will not only lose the bays but also the Marmara Sea." "WE WILL INSTALL ABOUT 700 MAPA ANCHORS"Minister Özhaseki explained that they are trying to eliminate the pollution in the Marmara Sea. He said, "After these findings, we have put the Mapa Anchor Project on the agenda. We will install about 700 Mapa Anchors in suitable locations with a distance of 40-50 meters. The location will be determined according to the coast. We will also place a 4 or 5-ton weight underneath to stabilize the anchor and attach it to the designated spot in the sea."
