The Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, will meet with representatives of leading organizations in the real sector on Monday, July 1st, to share the new tax draft that aims to ensure fairness and efficiency in taxation, as it includes regulations related to the business world. The Ministry of Treasury and Finance continues its work on the draft, which is prepared with the aims of ensuring fairness and efficiency in taxation, reducing informal economy, and taxing less from those who earn less and more from those who earn more. The new tax draft does not include provisions directly affecting citizens, but rather focuses on regulations related to producers, industrialists, and exporters. Therefore, Şimşek, who will share the details of the draft with the leading organizations in the real sector, will also gather the opinions and suggestions of the business world regarding the new regulations. CLOSED TO THE PRESSThe details of the practices such as minimum corporate tax for multinational companies, local minimum corporate tax and minimum income tax to increase the share of direct taxes will be explained to the representatives of the real sector. Şimşek's meeting with business representatives will take place on Monday at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and will be closed to the press. OPINIONS OF THE BUSINESS WORLD WILL BE CONVEYED TO THE GOVERNMENTRepresentatives and executives of organizations such as TOBB, TİM, MÜSİAD, DEİK, ASKON, TÜRKONFED, TÜRMOB, TÜSİAD, and YASED will attend the meeting. After obtaining the opinions of the business world, the draft tax study prepared by the Ministry will be conveyed to the relevant organs of the government and the party. The ongoing regulation works, aiming to leave no untaxed areas in Turkey, are expected to continue in the upcoming period in line with the goals stated in the Medium-Term Program. These packages also aim to increase the efficiency of the tax system.
