Minister Tunç: It is important for the decision made in the Narin case to find a place in the conscience of our nation.

In the case of the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who was killed in Diyarbakır, mother Yüksel Güran, uncle Salim Güran, and brother Enes Güran were sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment, while the informant Nevzat Bahtiyar received a sentence of 4 years and 6 months in prison.

STATEMENT FROM YILMAZ TUNÇ

Following the decision, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç made statements on his social media account.

Tunç stated, "The Diyarbakır 8th Heavy Criminal Court has rendered its decision regarding the brutal murder of our innocent daughter, 8-year-old Narin," and added, "In this painful incident, revealing the material truth and ensuring that the responsible parties are punished as they deserve has become a significant expectation for our nation."

In the continuation of his statement, Tunç said, "It is important for the decision made without delay, in accordance with the principles of the rule of law and judicial independence, to find a place in the conscience of our nation.
