Minister Uraloğlu has taken Discord into consideration: It's impossible not to be horrified when looking at its content.

Conversations, blackmail, sexual content, coercion, and threats that took place through some Discord groups in Turkey have come to light. In a video that spread on social media, a girl said she was forced to harm herself by individuals in this group, while Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated that the footage was staged.

THE PERPETRATOR ALSO COMMUNICATED THROUGH DISCORD

On the other hand, it was determined that Semih Çelik, a 19-year-old perpetrator who brutally murdered two young girls in Istanbul and then committed suicide by jumping from the walls, had communicated with individuals referred to as "incels" again through Discord.

"NECESSARY STEPS WILL BE TAKEN"

Following all these events, action has been taken regarding Discord. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated in his remarks about the 'Discord' application, "Necessary steps will be taken."

Uraloğlu made the following statements; "Now, this has also entered my radar a bit. For example, it seems that you cannot directly become a member there. You can only join with someone's reference.
