During a live broadcast where he was a guest, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Ibrahim Yumaklı was asked the question, "Why is there such a huge gap between the prices in the field and the prices in the market?" Minister Yumaklı responded to this question by saying, "There are structural reasons for this. Many factors come into play during the transportation to regions with high consumption. We are working to eliminate the elements that contribute to these costs."

The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, answered Dicle Canova's questions on CNN Türk. The question "Why is there such a huge gap between the price in the field and the price in the market?" was also asked to Minister Yumaklı, who made evaluations about the increasing product prices in recent times.

"THERE ARE STRUCTURAL REASONS"

Minister Yumaklı responded to this question, saying "We are talking about exorbitant prices here. We are doing everything about exorbitant prices. Last week, we discussed this issue again with the Turkey Haliciler Confederation and in Ankara market. We identify what needs to be done in terms of finding a solution and work on it. There are also structural reasons for this. Many factors come into play during the transportation to regions with high consumption. We are working to eliminate the cost components that create this cost."

EXORBITANT PRICES

Minister Yumaklı also mentioned the exorbitant price increases in products and said, "I want to say that the price increases in products are not related to production. The high prices of products that we consider as high-priced are not due to the absence of these products. We discussed this issue again last week. We support the Ministry of Trade's work on exorbitant prices."
