Rojin Kabaiş, a first-year student in the Child Development Department at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University (YYÜ), went outside after having dinner at the dormitory on the evening of September 27. When Kabaiş did not return, her friends, who were unable to reach her by phone, reported her missing to the police around 12:00 PM yesterday. Following this, police teams initiated an investigation. In the police's research, it was determined that Rojin Kabaiş had said she would go to collect pebbles on the shores of Lake Van at 6:30 PM on September 27, and that a friend she had offered to go with had responded negatively.
