The Ministry of National Education will distribute nutrition packages for the first time to 924,191 students, with parental consent, during the central exam under LGS. The exam will be held on June 13 with the participation of 1,022,658 candidates.
In the central exam within the scope of the High School Transition System (LGS) organized by the Ministry of National Education (MoNE), a nutrition package will be distributed for the first time to 924,191 students whose parents have approved.
NUTRITION PACKAGE TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO STUDENTS IN LGS
The central exam within the LGS scope will be held on Saturday, June 13, with participation of 1,022,658 candidates in total, including 1,022,104 students in 81 provinces and 920 districts across 4,244 buildings domestically, and 554 students in 8 countries and 11 exam centers abroad.
The Ministry decided this year to distribute a nutrition package consisting of dried fruit oat bars, walnuts, raisins, and water to students for the first time during the break between the verbal and numerical sessions, aiming to meet their nutritional needs, reduce exam anxiety, and increase motivation.
According to information obtained by an AA correspondent, the number of students who will benefit from the nutrition package to be given to children of parents who requested it through the e-School system during the central exam application has been determined.
TO BE GIVEN TO 924,191 STUDENTS
In this context, approximately 91% of the 1,022,658 students taking the exam domestically and abroad will receive a nutrition package. Thus, 924,191 students will benefit from the nutrition package between the two sessions of the exam.
MoNE placed students who will benefit from the nutrition package in schools according to their package request status.
In districts where the number of students not requesting the nutrition package is below 40, these students will take the exam in the same buildings as those requesting it, but in different rooms.
Thus, students who request and do not request the nutrition package will take the exam in different buildings or rooms.
It was also decided to send the nutrition package, excluding water, along with the exam documents to students taking the exam abroad.
