The suspect in the murder of 67-year-old Adnan Canbulat, who was found shot in the head and stabbed in multiple places on the road to Düzce's Sinekli Plateau, was captured in a gendarmerie operation and confessed to the crime. The suspect stated that he committed the murder due to a debt dispute.

MURDER SUSPECT CAUGHT
An important development occurred in the investigation into the male corpse found with a gunshot wound to the head and stab wounds on the Sinekli Plateau road in Düzce. Examinations revealed that the deceased was 67-year-old Adnan Canbulat, a resident of the Gölyaka district.
Following the incident, gendarmerie teams launched an extensive operation and began examining security cameras and route recordings in the area. Through technical and physical surveillance, the murder suspect was identified as 48-year-old N.Ö. from the Çilimli district. During interrogation after being apprehended in an operation at his home, N.Ö. reportedly confessed to committing the murder.

In his statement, the suspect said he was involved in livestock farming, had a debt issue with Adnan Canbulat, and committed the act after an argument that ensued. The investigation into the incident is ongoing by gendarmerie teams.
