A total of 306 matches will be played in the league marathon lasting 34 weeks. The 2026-2027 season will be completed on May 23, 2027. This season, 18 teams from 13 different provinces will compete in the Super Lig. Istanbul will be the city with the most representation in the league with 6 teams: Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Basaksehir, Kasimpasa, and Eyupspor. At the end of the season, the three teams in the 16th, 17th, and 18th places in the standings will be relegated.
THE FIRST BIG MATCH IS IN WEEK 4
The first big match of the season will be played between Fenerbahce and Besiktas in the 4th week. The derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce will take place in the 9th week of the league. According to the foreign player rule, teams can register 10 foreign players in the match squad without any criteria. Clubs will also be able to include 4 more foreign players born on or after January 1, 2003, in their squads.
