New decision from the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK): Three new banks are being established.

According to the decisions of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency published in the Official Gazette, three companies were granted operating licenses.

COLENDİ BANK

The decision stated that "As a result of the evaluation conducted under Article 10 of the Banking Law No. 5411, Article 7 of the Regulation on Transactions Subject to Permission by Banks and Indirect Shareholding, and the Regulation on the Principles of Operation of Digital Banks and Service Model Banking, it has been decided to grant an operating license to Colendi Bank A.Ş. with the decision of the Board dated 03.08.2023 and numbered 10639."

ZİRAAT DİNAMİK BANKA

In the decision granting an operating license to Ziraat Dinamik Bank A.Ş., it was stated that "As a result of the evaluation conducted under Article 10 of the Banking Law No. 5411, Article 7 of the Regulation on Transactions Subject to Permission by Banks and Indirect Shareholding, and the Regulation on the Principles of Operation of Digital Banks and Service Model Banking, it has been decided to grant an operating license to Ziraat Dinamik Bank A.Ş., which was granted establishment permission with the decision of the Board dated 23.03.2023 and numbered 10542."

FUPS BANK

Another bank granted an operating license is FUPS Bank A.Ş. In the decision numbered 10979, it was stated that "As a result of the evaluation conducted under Article 10 of the Banking Law No. 5411, Article 7 of the Regulation on Transactions Subject to Permission by Banks and Indirect Shareholding, and the Regulation on the Principles of Operation of Digital Banks and Service Model Banking, it has been decided to grant an operating license to FUPS Bank A.Ş., which was granted establishment permission with the decision of the Board dated 28.09.2022 and numbered 10347, and the decision dated 02.11.2023 and numbered 10715."
