It has been learned that Ismail Canak, who gave a statement within the scope of the 'Cem Kucuk investigation' conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, wanted to 'tell what he knows'. After his statement, Canak was released under judicial control measures.
Within the scope of the 'Cem Kucuk investigation' conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, arrest warrants were issued for Ismail Canak, Serdar Ozyurt, and Ahsen Melek Kocaturk.
HE WAS A FUGITIVE, BECAME A CONFESSOR
Ismail Canak, the fugitive suspect for whom an arrest warrant was issued, surrendered. It was learned that Canak stated he 'wanted to tell what he knows' within the scope of the case file.
Benefiting from the provisions of active remorse, Ismail Canak was released under judicial control measures after his statement at the prosecutor's office.
CEM KUCUK INVESTIGATION
Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, journalist Cem Kucuk was detained on charges of 'Publicly Disseminating Misleading Information' and 'Blackmail'.
"BLACKMAIL" ACCUSATION
It was stated that there were complaints against Cem Kucuk regarding making social media posts in exchange for financial benefits from some businessmen, that he had some statements featured in the media during the IMM investigation process, and that the investigation was initiated based on these claims.
HE WAS ARRESTED
Cem Kucuk, whose procedures at the police station were completed, was referred to the Istanbul Justice Palace in Caglayan. Brought before the criminal judgeship of peace, Cem Kucuk was arrested on the charge of 'publicly disseminating misleading information'.
