A recent development has occurred regarding the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district in Diyarbakır on August 21 and was found 19 days later in a stream bed, in a sack, covered with stones and bushes. A HAIR STRAND AND FIBER FOUND IN HER PALMAccording to a report by Mustafa Şekeroğlu from Habertürk, 91 findings prepared by the Diyarbakır Forensic Medicine Institution were sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institution for more detailed examination. Among the 91 findings sent, hair strands and fiber samples found in Narin's palm were included as finding number 77. In its examination, the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institution stated that 'the hair and fiber samples found in the left palm were determined to be of a rooted structure' in its macroscopic analysis. IT IS UNKNOWN TO WHOM THEY BELONGThe report does not provide any details about to whom the hair strands and fiber samples found in Narin Güran's palm belong. It was noted that the hair strands and fiber samples, which were not compared with any suspicious individuals, did not respond to DNA analysis of many findings they were part of.
