Israeli media reported that the drone hit the window belonging to the bedroom of the house, stating that the windows of the house were reinforced, which is why the drone could not penetrate the glass. Netanyahu, in a statement made hours after the attack, said, "Today, Iranian agents who tried to kill me and my wife made a grave mistake." DESCRIBED AS A "SERIOUS SECURITY FIASCO"Hezbollah's television station Al Manar presented the attack with the headline "A first in history - A drone struck the Prime Minister's home in Caesarea," reporting that the kamikaze drone bypassed all of Israel's air defense systems and helicopters to reach its target. A security official speaking to Israeli army radio stated that the attack in Caesarea was a very serious security error. The unnamed official also added that security services have launched an investigation into the fiasco. Al Jazeera reported that fighter jets and helicopters belonging to the Israeli Air Force were deployed in Caesarea. After the panic in Tel Aviv and the surrounding areas, sirens were sounded this time in the strategic port city of Haifa. It was reported that a missile fired by Hezbollah fell in an open area in the town of Yokneam, north of Haifa.
