The footage of the gendarmerie search conducted on the car of Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed to carrying the lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin Güran to a riverbed, has emerged.

On August 21, in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district, the first hearing of the case regarding the murder of Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found in a stream bed, inside a sack, covered with stones and hidden by bushes on the 19th day of the search efforts after she went missing, will be held on November 7 at the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court.

REQUEST FOR AGGRAVATED LIFE IMPRISONMENT

In the indictment prepared by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the 12 suspects in custody, it was stated that Salim Güran, her uncle, who had DNA and hair samples belonging to Narin in his vehicle, along with her mother Yüksel Güran and her brother Enes Güran, were detained. It was also noted that neighbors Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed to transporting the body to the stream bed after being taken into custody, was found to be in the same house at the time of the incident according to HTS and base station records. An aggravated life sentence was requested for the crime of 'intentional murder of a child in participation.'

TEAMS COLLECTED EVIDENCE

In his statement, Nevzat Bahtiyar said that he left Narin's lifeless body on the back seat of the car. Images of the detailed examination conducted by the gendarmerie criminal teams in Bahtiyar's vehicle have emerged. The teams collected evidence both inside the vehicle and in the trunk during the examination.
