The Turkish Football Federation issued a new statement about Vincenzo Montella, whose tenure with the National Team was terminated. Thanking the Italian coach for his services, the federation announced that TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu will meet face to face with Montella, who will come to Turkey next week.
The Turkish Football Federation published a new statement about the Italian coach after it was decided at its board of directors meeting to part ways with Vincenzo Montella.
The Federation thanked Montella, who had coached the National A Team for more than three years, for the successes achieved during his tenure and his contributions to Turkish football.
The TFF's statement included the following remarks:
"At its board of directors meeting held yesterday, the Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation decided not to continue with Vincenzo Montella, who has served as head coach of our National A Team for more than 3 years.
As the TFF, we sincerely thank Vincenzo Montella for the successes full of firsts he brought to our National Team during his tenure with the National A Team and for his services to Turkish football, and we wish him endless success in the next period of his career."
HACIOSMANOĞLU WILL MEET MONTELLA FACE TO FACE
In the Federation's statement, it was also announced that TFF President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu and Vincenzo Montella will come together next week.
The statement said, "TFF President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu will hold a face-to-face meeting next week with Vincenzo Montella, who will come to Turkey, and will convey his thanks to him for the work he has done for our National A Team." Thus, the TFF also announced that the meeting to be held after parting ways with Montella is intended as a thank-you.
