New Statement from Yılmaz Tunç Regarding the DEM Party's Application to İmralı

The Chairman of the MHP, Devlet Bahçeli, had called for Imralı during his party's group meetings. Bahçeli stated that the terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan should be brought to the Parliament if necessary and should declare that terrorism has been abolished, and he also mentioned that the DEM Party should establish face-to-face contact.

INDICATED AFTER THE BUDGET

While Bahçeli's calls continue to be a hot topic in the political agenda, the DEM Party had applied to the Ministry of Justice regarding the matter. Recently, Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç made a statement on the issue. Tunç expressed that they would determine a suitable time for sending a delegation to Imralı, saying, "We need to be a little patient accordingly. There are already budget discussions. After the budget is completed, a decision will likely be made."

WHEN WILL THE BUDGET DISCUSSIONS END?

The budget discussions, which started in the Parliament on December 9, will be completed on Friday, December 20, with speeches and voting on the entire budget. The last session of the budget discussions will be chaired by the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş.
