Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan shared important messages regarding Syria, which is under the administration of Bashar al-Assad, where mutual statements have been made and the normalization process has begun in recent days. Minister Fidan stated, "We want to keep the doors of dialogue open. The spirit of the time is forcing us to seek peace. We recommend that the peace call of our President be responded to."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, stated in his remarks on the normalization steps between Turkey and Syria, "The peace call of our President is important, and we recommend it to find a response."

Minister Fidan made important statements regarding foreign policy during the joint press conference with the Saudi Arabian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
