Within the scope of the investigation coordinated by the Kızılcahamam Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 5 suspects, including Tuğba Ekinci, were detained in simultaneous operations carried out in 5 provinces. It was determined that the suspects shared obscene content for a fee via social media. Efforts to capture 2 fugitive suspects are ongoing.
Teams from the Ankara Provincial Security Directorate's Public Order Branch Directorate, coordinated by the Kızılcahamam Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, began tracking suspects deemed to have committed the crime of 'obscenity' via social media. Following technical and physical investigations, the go-ahead was given for an operation.
SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION IN 5 PROVINCES: 5 DETAINED, INCLUDING TUĞBA EKİNCİ
Within the scope of the investigation, teams identified the suspects' addresses. Subsequently, simultaneous operations were carried out at the determined addresses in 5 provinces. Five of the 7 suspects with arrest warrants were detained during the operations. Famous singer Tuğba Ekinci was also among those detained.
THEY HAD ESTABLISHED A PAID PRIVATE MEMBERSHIP SYSTEM
Examinations of the suspects' social media accounts revealed the group's method of generating income. According to the teams' findings, while making sexually explicit posts, the suspects created private accounts on different platforms. It was determined that the suspects, who established a VIP and private membership system through these accounts, offered obscene images and videos to their followers for money.
THEY WILL BE REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE
Tuğba Ekinci and the other suspects, who were detained, were taken to the Robbery Bureau Office of the Public Order Branch Directorate of the Ankara Provincial Security Directorate for processing. The suspects are expected to be referred to the Kızılcahamam Chief Public Prosecutor's Office after the completion of their statements and procedures at the police station.
