Olympique Marseille Sign Alexis Sanchez After Inter Milan Exit

Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez has joined French club Olympique Marseille on a free transfer.

Sanchez, 33, left Italian side Inter Milan by mutual agreement earlier this week.

A Marseille statement confirmed the transfer but did not give details of his contract.

Sanchez has won 17 trophies in his career, including two Copa America titles for Chile.

He is the country's record goal-scorer with 48 strikes in 143 appearances.

Sanchez's previous clubs include Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United and Italy's Udinese. -
