The Ministry of National Defense announced that Senior Sergeant Bahadır Rıdvan Talay, a Combat Engineer Non-Commissioned Officer, was martyred as a result of the explosion of an IED planted by members of the separatist terrorist organization in the Paws-Lock Operation area in northern Iraq.
The Ministry of National Defense announced that a soldier was martyred as a result of the explosion of an improvised explosive device (IED) previously placed by members of the separatist terrorist organization in the operation area of the Claw-Lock operation.
In the Claw-Lock Operation carried out in northern Iraq, Senior Sergeant Bahadır Rıdvan Talay, a Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Engineering Corps, was martyred as a result of the explosion of an IED.
ONE OF OUR SOLDIERS INJURED
In a written statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that one soldier was injured and the following expressions were used: "We extend our condolences to the grieving family and the Turkish Armed Forces and our noble nation for the martyr who lost his life in this incident that deeply saddens us, and we wish a speedy recovery to our injured comrades-in-arms."
